TXRD Lonestar Rollergirls
TXRD--Lonestar Rollergirls is a skater-owned and operated sports and entertainment company based in Austin, Texas. TXRD--Lonestar Rollergirls promotes friendship and competition between determined, beautiful, unique and, most of all, tough women. Founded in 2001 by She-E-Os Anya Jack, April Herman, Heather Burdick and Nancy Lynn, TXRD has captured the public's attention and has quickly become a Texas favorite. In 2003, TXRD purchased an original banked roller derby track and has since been providing derby fans with a new twist on the original style of roller derby. In 2005, our league participated in the filming of "Rollergirls," a 13-episode television show that aired on A&E and chronicled the lives of a few of our skaters, on and off the track.The Lonestar Rollergirls are excited to be a part of the nation-wide revival of all forms of derby, banked-track and flat-track, and we encourage derby fans new and old to check out a league near you!
