I Derby To Know I Am More Than The Sum Of My Parts. I have been brought to tears for the first time in my life with how proud I am of myself.
People who come to bouts think all of the “girls” are exhibitionists. That we are all there to show off our tattoos, flash a lot of fish-net covered flesh, and to get into fights. That may be true for many, and that’s fine for them. I derby because it is a hell of a lot of work and I want to know that I CAN derby, and that I AM.

Wet Spot from the Minnesota Rollergirls has started a great Craigslits-style site for derby guy. DERBUY has wheels, plates, skates, hardware, and pads, as well as apparel and art. Seriously great spot to buy or sell skates.
FYI, use caution when buying pre-owned helmets. If you take one hard fall in your helmet, you should technically replace it (ha ha), so while you may be saving money buying a used helmet, you might be spending thousands of dollars in head injuries.
